The production process of white tea
The production process of white tea is as follows:
Step 1: Withering
There are two ways of withering, one is natural withering, and the other is machine withering.
Natural withering: Place tea leaves in a well-ventilated area or under sunlight until they lose moisture.
Artificial withering: Put the tea leaves in a drying machine to remove moisture from the tea leaves, and control the machine temperature at 20-30 degrees Celsius.
Step 2: Filter
There are three purposes for screening tea:
- Select tea leaves of similar size or shape.
- Separate impurities from tea leaves
- Separate the tea crumbs
Screening will remove most of the impurities in the tea leaves, and the remaining small amounts of impurities still need to be manually sorted.
Step 3: Packaging
Packaging is generally divided into two types: bagged and canned, and the packaging process needs to pay attention to environmental and personal hygiene.
